 Operations Manager - Long Beach California

Brief Description:   The Operations Manager will be responsible for California operations. He or she will provide and supervise vessel agency services at all CA ports, oversee and ensure the highest level of customer service with a staff of up to 6 operatives as well as local support staff assisting with the company’s expanding  business in CA.

Required Qualifications & Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of maritime operations experience (ocean carrier or agency) and knowledge of California ports and terminals and all State and Federal rules and regulations relating to foreign vessels calling on CA ports. Essential skills include strong verbal and written communication abilities, customer service/vendor relations and motivational  skills.

Salary/Benefits Range: Competitive base salary plus benefits, car or car allowance and smartphone. Discretionary bonus eligible.

Comments: Relocation assistance may be available for the ideal candidate, but familiarity with California ports is important. Please submit resume and recent salary information for consideration.
